This starter privacy notice is intentionally conservative and should be reviewed by the church before publication. The website is designed to work without analytics or advertising cookies by default.

Before launch: confirm the church’s data controller wording, retention periods, safeguarding process and any third-party form, newsletter, donation or analytics providers.

Information you choose to provide

If you contact the church, request prayer, ask for pastoral support or sign up for updates, the church may receive your name, contact details and the content of your message.

How information may be used

Information should only be used to respond to enquiries, provide requested ministry or pastoral support, administer church activities and meet legal or safeguarding obligations.

Third-party services

The starter site links to social media, YouTube and map services rather than embedding them. If embedded videos, analytics, online giving, newsletter software or hosted forms are later added, update this notice and the cookie approach accordingly.

Prayer and pastoral information

Prayer requests and pastoral messages can contain sensitive personal information. They should be handled carefully, shared only with appropriate authorised people and retained only as long as necessary.
